    wow....I really the Bears are Super Bowl contenders.

    Hill could probably have even better #'s if this organization wasn't so ignorant with handling young players. He got shelled against the Sox(the famous Barrett punch game) then was exiled to AAA for nearly 2 months. He should have had at least one more start after that game to redeem himself. oh well whats done is done. I'm glad he's back and dominant.

    If the Cubs are gonna go with Izturis at SS and D. Lee at 1B, I really think they could get away with his defense(or lack there of). When Soriono did play 2B what made him so bad there? Muffing grounders? Bad throws? Bad excution on double plays? Poor range?

    Lets say team its down to 2 teams for Soriono..Team A & Team B Team A is offering 5 million more..but wants him in LF Team B has offered him the starting 2B job. Which one would he choose? I'm hearing he really wants to get back in the infield.

    Hoping for the best for Mark. Had he not gone down mid year I think he would have had the best rookie year #'s wise of all wide receivers. 8)

    changes need to be made in the secondary. Ambrose Wooden is terrible.

    Game score is a metric devised by Bill James to show how dominating a pitcher was in any particular game. To determine a starting pitcher's game score: (1) Start with 50 points. (2) Add 1 point for each out recorded, so 3 points for every complete inning pitched. (3) Add 2 points for each inning completed after the 4th. (4) Add 1 point for each strikeout. (5) Subtract 2 points for each hit allowed. (6) Subtract 4 points for each earned run allowed. (7) Subtract 2 points for each unearned run allowed. (8) Subtract 1 point for each walk. The top game score in the history of baseball was Kerry Wood's one-hit, no walk, 20 strikeout performance against the Astros on May 6, 1998. His game score was 105. Thanks. Hill is good.

    I wonder what Hill's trade value is? I seriously think you could get a guy like Ichiro or Tejada for him right now. by no means am I implying to trade Hill. I love everything about him. Stats, and stuff aside, his motion looks smooth. I think he is a guy that will take the ball every 5 days with little risk for injury problems.

    If I'm not mistaken Hill's ERA has to be below 3.00 post ASB.

    I think of him more like a momentary cool breeze off the lake on a 105 degree day. I really think he has been the only positive thing about this team the past month.

    Yes, they will. Notre Dame will play for a championship within the next 5 years. The hype is just getting well ahead of their ability and talent. I certainly hope so. The D needs to be severly rebuilt.

    This is frustrating as an Irish fan. A loss and our National Championship chances are done. Will the Irish get another chance this good? Depends on how good this Clausen kid is. Tye Willingham left Weiss with a garbage seconadry..Weiss needs to fix this if he ever wants a national championship.

    Is anyone concerned about the Ruben Brown/Shaun Rodgers matchup. Ruben is starting to show signs of age, and Rodgers is a monster. A 340lb Rodgers slamming into Rex could spell disasster.

    considering the Cubs paid Miller a million bucks to have the "honor" of re-habbing him, it would be pretty frustrating to see him have a solid 07 for another team.
