I went to a game last month against Milwaukee where Rusch pitched. The first batter of the game hit a home run, and he allowed 4 other dingers before getting pulled. They lost 17-2. :roll: The last 2 games I have been to at Wrigley: 1) Rusch pitches like his usual self and they get handed worse defeat of year. 2) D. Kile found dead in hotel morning of game...game cancelled. The pitching matchup met the hype. Santana K'd 13 through 7. Shilling wasn't dominating, but only gave up 1. A rookie hit a walk off grand-slam in the bottom of the 12th for the win. What a game! -
Exactly. No point in rushing him back. This season is already in the toilet. He should take his time coming back. No, no, you're wrong! Lee comes back, and Pierre will magically become a great leadoff hitter, everyone will get hits with RISP, Kerry Wood will be cured, Mark Prior will regain his old form, and we'll make the playoffs! now now, Lee isn't Pujols ;) true...I don't think Lee uses steroids.

Yes! They mentioned that on the broadcast...the fact that Marmol never shook off anything Michael called. It was truly a team effort by the battery. 8)

I don't root against Rusch, but I have become so pessimistic when he pitches that I just expect total and unconditional futility. Every out he gets is like a win. :roll:

I think Murton is a great addition to the team. He proved in April and May that he can get hits under pressure. I like to see him at bat in desperate situations. Plus his orange hair makes my son LOL. He says people with orange hair are mean...but he's 6 WTF does he know. :wink:

I have seen road Cubs games in St Louis, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Milwaukee. Never got in a fight either...LOL -
