  3. Kerry Wood has to be feeling a lot better now...
  4. Vote and then discuss.
  5. Damn Dempster, That wasn't very "cub-like" CUBS WIN!!!
  6. Helton is gonna eat Dempmster alive, as he always does Nice pick, Dusty  Eyre is .156 against leftys, he shoulda been in
  7. Throw em out
  8. The Milwaukee Brewers are trading slugger Carlos Lee to the Texas Rangers as part of a multi-player deal, ESPN.com learned Friday. The Brewers are sending Lee, minor-league outfield prospect Nelson Cruz and a player to be named later to the Rangers for relief pitcher Francisco Cordero and outfielders Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix. Both teams are checking for any medical issues before consummating the deal.
  9. WASHINGTON -- Scott Williamson knew he was going to be traded, and on Saturday, the Cubs made a deal. The Cubs dealt the right-handed reliever to the Padres for Minor League pitchers Fabian Jimenez Angulo, 19, and Joel Santo, 22. Both were pitching at Class A Fort Wayne. "We're happy with the two young pitchers we got," Cubs general manager Jim Hendry said Saturday. "We liked them last year. They have good arms and they project well. Williamson may be able to help the Padres in a different role."
  10. Unfortunately for those 3 teams they won't be playing the NL central much longer. :D Lmao, thats the truth.
  11. Lmao, How about..Christopher Zambrano or Andrew Guzman, etc..
  12. Yeah. Pretty sad that the official website doesn't even know his first name.
  13. See if you can find it in the Marmol article. Even our website sucks.
  14. Dont jinx it!!!! Look what happened after you started the Marmol bandWGN... His record is 0-2 since then
  15. So what the heck is up? What good does this do if he will just do it all over again? I would like to see him do what Smoltz did. Pitch relief instead of starting.
  16. At this point in time, I just look at my banner, laugh, and then hope for a clean house next year. WWJPS? What would Jeremy Piven Say?
  17. Considering Blanco and Nevin were probably the MVPs for the last few weeks, can we still blame our horrible year on injury and the Barrett suspension? All fingers are pointing to Dusty at this point in time IMO.
  18. New York Mets They are fun to watch, and Its always good to cheer for a Yankee rival. I also like the Pittsburgh Pirates because of our local AAA team (Indianapolis Indians)
  19. I pretty much agree. I am not going to work myself into a lather over this anymore. It was a good sign that Prior that was in low 90s all night, and topped out at 96 (I think), only b/c it increases his trade value. That's really all I care about at this point....and what the Bulls do on Wed. night. Trading Prior would be downright silly. As much as I love Prior, where would we be right now if we had pulled the trigger on the Miguek Tejada trade?
  20. I say put him at 2nd. Theres no way he could do worse than Neifi.
  21. What we really need is the Rocket to come out of retirement. Roger Clemens you ask? No. Chet Steadman
  22. Didnt miss much dude. I actually got it down here in Indy on WGN 720 Radio. It was scratchy, time consuming, and very tough to sit through.
