yeah, that 2005 era of 4.51 is a spitting image of this year's 3.47. My favorite thing about this team so far though is that although they have great pitching, they seem to get down early and come back later in the game to win. That is fun baseball. I have extra innings, but still find myself watching the Tigers on the local Fox Sports now more than the Cubs that I paid to have Extra Innings for. The season it started out all Cubs on the TV, but hell.. I can't bear to watch anymore.

I live in Detroit and although I'm a diehard Cubs fan, I go watch the Tigers quite regularly. I've been to 10 games this year, last night being the last one. They are 9-1 with their only loss coming in the 9th on a Friday night against Boston. Damn, this is a team. No real "superstars" but a SOLID group of guys with a few very good veteran leaders that goes out every night, plays their butts off, and wins. I so wish we could have a team that is as consistant as the Tigers are this year. I love watching these guys, and I think they've become my 2nd favorite team. They're well coached and play smart baseball. It's fun going to Comerica. I absolutely love it, especially in this season of Dusty. It's definitely helped with my Cubs frustrations!

Down 10 pts with 3 starters going today compared to his 0. I'd take 1 QS/W and 2 0 point outings from them. My staff is terrible.

oh, and they all have to be healthy. a 100% healthy team of great players...that's all he asks. then he can really work his magic. give him horses ? his team plays like [expletive]. This made me laugh!! Thank you for a bit of humor during a not so humorous season!

Matt changed his team name and logo, and I laughed my ass off for about 15 mins. He said he did it to reflect his team's play as of late. Good stuff!

That sucks too, because I was hoping to gain ground. Ugh. Now I have to beat Matt this week. He's been slumping which means he'll put up around 300 on me.

Is it legal to drop Duckworth, who is supposed to start tomorrow, and insert Prior since he is coming off the DL? I won't be gaining a start, and I need to make a roster move in order to take Colon off the DL as well and make my roster legal tomorrow.

The Pirates comparison sparked my bats today.. Hell of a day, although I can almost guarantee a choke job before Sunday. Oh well.. moving closer toward a high draft pick and I really like my young bats. The Kemp trade earlier this year could really pay off!
