  1. I hate Missouri. I'd expect nothing less. And I hate Ron Prince with a burning passion for using his timeouts. I just now am getting feeling back in my fingers. I want Snyder back. Ron Prince's offense BLOWS! Mizzou has a great offense, and our defense is actually good. It just sucks when they're out on the field the whole game because our offense is so bad. I think it's a totally different game when we're up 7-3 if we get it in on the 4th and 1. Prince pissed me off, i mean hell, you have a 6'6" qb who weighs 240, why not sneak it? UGH! Congrats on the win Mizzou, I am beginning to hate Ron Prince too.
  2. Stupid KSU... Can't score with 7 plays from inside the 10 yard line. Mizzou up 10-7.
  3. WOO! First Play of the game, Fumble Mizzou, KSU TOUCHDOWN!!! 7-0 Cats.
  4. Anyone try or have any luck? I'd love to go if anyone did and came up with an extra ticket or 2....
  5. The Cats are looking good. Cartier and Hoskins back, along with the rest of a team that was very competitive in the Big 12. Add Huggins and 2 legitimate big man recruits, along with a scoring JUCO guard and possibly Bill Walker before the start of the Big 12, and WOO! Looking like a potential Top 20 team by year end! I haven't been as excited about KSU bball in years.
  6. Nah. KSU just isn't good this year, which was reflected in them being an underdog in a game at Baylor. Everyone knew KSU was pretty much at rock bottom this year - you have to start there before you make your way back up. We have the same players as last year when the team scored points. I totally don't understand. Our new offensive coordinator sucks, and I totally already miss the qb running game and Bill Snyder's offense. Our defense is fine, and wouldn't have given up a point last night if not for special teams and turnovers. I hate the WC offense!
  7. RIP KSU FOOTBALL 9/30/06
  8. Welcome... I manage the Leon Trotskys, second best team in the history of the league, record wise at least.. :)
  9. Tell yourself that..... Although our Offense looked like complete poo, our D is back, and REALLY good.... I about made that comment last week, but wanted to watch the Louisville game before I said anything. Our D is looking like the KSU of old. I hope it keeps going like it did today. We will dominate Big 12 offenses if so. Plus, pinkel likes to not put a good plan out vs the Cats! I was definitely not upset with today's performance on D.... Our offense does blow though. I say play Freeman and lets see what the kid can do. He does have a cannon from what I saw today. What was good about the defense today, the turnovers? I'm not trying to be argumentative, but looking at the boxscore(24 points, 400+ total yards, over 200 yards rushing, 69% completion percentage) it doesn't look like a terribly strong performance. Tangentially, I think Mizzou moved into the #1 spot in defensive YPG after today. [insert comment about how Mizzou's opponents have been garbage here] I'll tell you what's good about that. Holding the nation's #1 offense to 24 pts is one thing. They had 2 drives the entire game that were long drives. We shut them down, played fast, played aggressive, and tackled well. Hell, we even pressured them. The problem, and the reason for the 400 yards, is our pathetic offense. If the offense didn't make the d be on the field the entire game, and actually sustained a few drives, you would be shocked at how little offense the Louisville team gained. I'm quite happy with where our D is, but like I said, I'd play Freeman... .get the kid some PT since the redshirt is already burned, and prepare this team for the future. We'll definitely go to a bowl, so it can't hurt to get the kid game experience. The D will carry this team this year, they're going to be tough in the Big 12. Isn't UL missing its two best players, though? (QB and someone else?) I'm not saying KSU's D isn't solid, just curious. Is our game at Lawrence or Manhatten this year, btw? We play in Lawrence, but yes, they are missing their qb and rb... However, I don't think the rb hurts that much, as their backups are very good as well... Brohm being out did hurt, but they are a solid team all around, and the back up Cantwell, is a very servicable backup.

  12. Oh definitely, once KSU starts playing real teams they're gonna get smoked. I'm not going to think of Mizzou as a favorite until they make it through the CU game though. I will say, it helps that Nebraska and Mizzou are the only teams that have looked strong so far. How long has it been since Mizzou has beaten KSU? Oh, btw, our defense and special teams are back to being good this year. If our offense makes some strides, you'll be eating your words.
  13. I'll be listening to trade offers this offseason. I promise. The only one I really regret is Verlander. I was ridiculously loaded with young arms. I traded you Bonderman, Verlander, Cain and Santana. I also traded away Reyes. I still have Liriano and Billingsley from my group at the beginning of the year. I've added Garza, Hughes and Adam Miller. I can't complain about the production I've gotten from Halladay. I just wish Ensberg hadn't hurt his shoulder immediately upon arrival. But that's the way things go sometimes. My real regret is trading Markakis & Tabata for Floyd. What the hell was I thinking?!? I made out like a bandit on a few trades this year. The above mentioned trade as well as A. Jones for Ibanez and Hanley.
  14. buh bye any chance at postseason...
  15. I just saw the best thing I've seen all year with this group of shitbags.. At least Mateo has the balls to hit Clemens. I love it!
  16. If only I'd have won the week before, I'd be 2 out. I still play each of the top teams in my division.
  17. How the hell did I win? I was down 20 when I went to bed.
  18. We have a trade worked out, so Juan, what is the process of getting this processed? I'm adding Jeff Kent and Varitek to my waivers list. Anyone needing a 2b for the stretch run, let me know.
  19. I'd like to put in a claim on Chavez.
  20. Hatteberg, Scott Feliz, Pedro Crede, Joe Padilla, Vicente Marquis, Jason Lilly, Ted Durham, Rey
  21. Going camping for the weekend. Hopefully I'm still winning when I return! If only a team ahead of me would finally freaking lose! I am definitely not making the playoffs this year.
  22. My god. I finally start playing worth a crap and nobody ahead of me will lose. Ugh. Well.. Trades can now be made to help someone out if anyone is interested. Time to let the young guys play!
  23. That inning may lose me the game. [expletive] Beltran.
  24. Damn It... Dan Johnson to the minors. I now need a first baseman. Anyone have one to offer?
  25. BAN THE TRAITOR! Hahaha! You're just jealous because you don't have the same kind of team to watch in Denver! Actually, I would be fine if the cubs were around .500, but I really can't bare to watch anymore. The stupidity of this team and management doesn't even get me pissed off anymore. The Tigers are just the fill in for now.
