I heard your defense looked excellent last night. Any word on whether Giddens will play? I heard he hurt his ankle against WSU. I haven't heard either if Giddens is a go or not. Our defense was awesome last night. Cartier and Hoskins/Walker were our big men last night. Colon didn't see the floor, and Bennett was not with the team due to a death in the family so we played small and fast. Bill Walker freaking dominated down low in the second half. The guy is a HUGE difference maker!

Bill Walker is a stud. I want to see what kind of difference he makes vs UNM tonight. They killed us the first go round in the Pit, but something tells me tonight will be different.

KSU/USC in 10 Mins. Winner to take on Wichita State or NM. GO CATS! I'd love to play WSU. It sucks not having them on the schedule this year, as we usually play them every year.

I talked to him today.. haha.. well every day cuz we work together. He's mulling it over. I like the deal personally (either with Crawford or Dunn), but he hasn't really mapped out his keepers yet. He said he'll let you know soon.

lol.. I watched the game and for only practicing with the team for a day, I was impressed with Walker. I hope the Bramlage streak ends.. I think we're poised for a top 4 finish in the Big 12 this year... Call me crazy, but I think we'll do it.

I think it would be a good win and a bit of validation for their hot start for Mizzou, but embarrassing for U of I? It's a rivalry game, and Mizzou has only one loss and already dusted a decent-at-least Arkansas team. And like I said earlier in this thread, Snyder always was a decent recruiter, Mizzou's roster consists of several recruits who were well regarded nationally. Is it to the level of Illinois, who has been at the top of the B10 for a while? No, but it's a rivalry game on a neutral floor, and as such I don't think it's a disgrace to lose the game. with the way UI fans have run their mouths RE: KU the last 4 years, I don't know who to root for. On the one hand, it's Mizzou, and I hate rooting for Mizzou. But it would be nice for the Big XII to get a nice noncon scalp, and it would be hilarious to see the Illini freak out over the loss. Plus, I'd like Mizzou to feel nice and confident coming into the KU games. There. I talked myself into it. [bathing in lye]Go Mizzou.[/bathing in lye] Do you think we'll beat you this year? I'd love to hear an honest opinion. I think we have a great shot, especially adding a 4th scoring option in Walker.

I know we didn't play anyone worth a crap today, but just watching Bill Walker on the court makes me happy. He could be the difference maker and had a nice game today.. 15 pts/4 boards in 22 Mins. I can't wait to see him paired with Beasley next year! He definitely adds another scorer, which should help a LOT come Big 12 time.

KSU Sucks.. We won some games with this group last year, and were in almost every single game... Who the hell knows what Huggins has done to this team. I'm not giving up on him yet, only 7 games into the season, but christ I'm disappointed.

Bob Huggins.. I'm definitely not sold on him.. We've now gotten our ass kicked 2 road games in a row. UGH! He's playing walk ons over players that were a respectable group last year. I'm not happy.

Good God I hope this is wrong. If Hendry signs Soriano for 8 years, I'll cry. I'd rather see him dump 20 million a year on Soriano for 4 years than 8 years at 17 million a year. -
