  1. I'll be more than happy to trade you someone at the end of the year for prospects. I might just have to do that. My keeper list is probably going to include Brandon Webb, who is currently sporting -13 points for the season. I just got rid of Granderson because Reimold and his 15-20 pts a week have just been sitting on the bench. I picked up Aram who will either 1. Replace Blalock at 3b for me later this year or 2. Be an extremely cheap keeper after the season. I got a better prospect than I gave up in the deal too. We'll see how it works out. I may regret it.

  3. Worst [expletive] finish to a game I've been to all year. I said to Katie that Gregg will blow it about 2 mins prior to him walking in from the CF bullpen. Ryan [expletive] Rayburn????????? She asked me if he was any good when he came on to pinch hit, and I said no, but he'll homer to end it and wallah..

And I think what Raisin was subtly pointing out with that link on that particular page was to note that 2 teams have signed two minor league guys who are newly added to the database since our draft took place. ;) I know that justin's pickup was someone he drafted in the minor league draft (see the draft thread). He dropped the placeholder that was made for him in the draft and picked up the real player once he was added to the database. Not sure about the other one on there though.

I dropped Reimold earlier this year and had to wait til he was brought up to the ML club to pick him back up. I was specifically told to drop him and that he couldn't be picked up until A. The Minor League Draft or B. He was called up to the big leagues. Thus, after I picked him up (after the initial drop) I had to drop him again until he was called up. When he was called up, I was able to grab him again. Thus, I should be ok with today's pickup (Blanks), but if you've dropped someone and he's not in the ML or hasn't been in the ML, he can't be picked back up. I'd think that McGee should be dropped too because of that rule that I had to abide by earlier this year.

I had a minor league roster crunch. But, Gonzalez is blocking him at 1b and the outfield experiment probably won't last long. In fact, he's probably only up with the team to serve as a DH. His current body weight is right around 290 lbs. He makes Fielder look small by comparison. Yeah.. probably so.

Well holy hell.. Blanks called up, and he was available, so I grabbed him. I have no idea how he wasn't on a roster. I did a search of all rosters and nobody had a placeholder for him. He's been in the system quite a long time. Must have just been overlooked????? Nevermind... Brian dropped him in May.

    I'd say yes.

Garland picked up since halladay and bedard to the DL. We'll see if I use him for start #7.

I agree it's probably a good trade for both teams. It'll help Kevin this year and you in the long term. By the way, I'm still willing to trade more. For instance, Hanley Ramirez may still be available for an exempt stud if anyone's interested. The offer will have to blow my socks off, and I'd prefer a bat (3b or SS). Make me an offer if you're interested.

Wow.. a first rounder and Posey for Vasquez and Cruz. That's a lot to give up in my opinion.
  12. Damn! Who did I try to sell you for heyward alone? I think Zach Duke. Actually, I'm sure of it.

He gets my first round pick next year too.

I'm rooting for you. :D That's not nice! :) He may be in good shape as I look to not have a start from AJB (suspension) this week and Halladay may not pitch due to his groin problem. Top that with Bedard's out of nowhere shoulder issue and I could be in trouble for a couple weeks. Burnett's suspension appeal has been delayed, I believe I read until June 30. You should have him this week. That's good. I've also added King Felix to the Tootielicious roster for my first pick in 2010 and Heyward.
  15. Tootielicious trades 2010 first round pick + Heyward to HBC for King Felix.

I'm talking the fact that there were no CBS updates indicating a problem until 5 mins before he was to start.

Holy hell if I didn't put up 63 in 2 starts only to have 2 CG thrown against me and a loss. Oh well, 9-1 isn't horrible. Easily could be 9-2 after next week if my pitching doesn't get healthy.

I'm tied with Matt.. We both have 2 starts remaining. Here's to hoping Cain and Weaver s hit the bed today.

All of my M/Fing pitchers are hurt. Roy, Bedard, Zimmermann fart!
  21. I'd be ok with that too, because you could still trade them for later round draft picks and exempt players/prospects.
  22. I can see both sides of it, and would prefer that I be able to trade my studs that I can't keep after the season for at least minor leaguers and preferrably draft picks. Whatever the entire group decides though I'm fine with. I can say that I know Justin preferred what he got in Howard/Kazmir for a first rounder and a late 2nd rounder (Even though Kazmir's sucked complete nuts this year).
  23. 600 points may be too little, but say, one major player 600 pts or greater per team can be traded, and the rest (if you can't keep them) have to go into the draft? I know I took advantage last year, and would probably love to do the same this year, but I understand the frustration that others have with it. What about trading other players that aren't worthy of first round picks but are worthy of 3rd, 4th, or 5th rounders? I think this should all be taken into account so that we can all manage our rosters for the rest of the year.
  24. Reverse records of last season, or as of right now??? Im fine with whatever everyone agrees to, was just wondering how it would work.
  25. I won't pick first regardless of how we do it, nor will Tim.
