Thanks! Justin and Matt both informed me that they really don't keep up enough to be competitive either. I really hope you can find 3 new teams. My apologies. Please do keep me on this board though. I'd love to be able to check in with everyone from time to time.

I hate to do this, but after talking about it with the future wife last night, I'm going to have to back out. I just have too much going on right now, and barely have any internet time. My Sundays are now booked with work and I just don't know how I'm going to do it with all I have going on. I may look to get back in in the future, but I just can't swing the time it takes to stay competitive. I'll check with Matt and Justin to see what they're going to do with me backing out, as neither of them really communicate with anyone via NSBB and I usually have to do their communication for them. I do apologize guys, just a hectic time in my life right now.

Been outta town. Like I said, Matt, Justin, and I are in, although I'm not sure how much time I'll have for it this summer with wedding, honeymoon, tons of work. I'll get payment off soon.

Thank God the Cats make up for a loss to OSU at home with a WIN at Baylor! Should be still fighting for the Big 12, but losing at home to OSU killed them!

I still went to a game last year, but doesn't look like I will be able to this year with the expenses of wedding, honeymoon, etc. Need to take a honeymoon, right? Yes.. somewhere more interesting that Chicago! :) The all inclusive we have booked in the caribbean kind of trumps MLB.

Rep. I'll be the first to say that the Big East is down this year (which a lot of people projected before the season). Maybe I'm a homer, but with KU, UT and KSU as the tier one teams in the big 12, and Baylor, Mizzou, and OK St/A&M as the tier two, I'd say the Big 12 is the toughest. Kenpom says it's the ACC, though. I don't buy KSU as a tier 1 team. Beating UT at home is nice, but UT is about to lose another road game, and as I type this KSU is about to lose to OSU at home and they've already lost to Mizzou on the road. KSU definitely can't handle success. Today's loss is unacceptable.

I guess because I'm getting use to baseball and football leagues that pay out at the end of the year. That, and I've been in this league since 2000 or 2001 or whatever the first year was we started. Not that I don't enjoy it, I just don't get as excited about it as I use to.

Oh, I think I could. Well, it's a hell of an excuse to get everyone back together in one place. Some of the guys couldn't go to the typical places (Vegas, Chicago, a beach somewhere) as their significant others wouldn't allow it. Besides, seeing #3 vs #9 will be a hell of a good time. Not to mention a bunch of guys in their early 30's going back to a college town. I forsee a weekend of dubachery.

Can't wait for 2 weeks. Couldn't think of a better way to enjoy my bachelor party than in Manhattan KS with about 15 college buddies for KSU/KU. Gonna be the first time we've all been back there together in 10 years.

Nevermind... It worked out better. I am stacked at LB in the league and gave up Lee Evans and Vilma for Bowe. Much better for me this way.

It's a hell of a tough place to come into and win. I'm guessing the tide will turn when you visit Manhattan.

Hello, I'm in a league (finished 2nd out of 16 teams) where we keep our entire team going into the next season. Yes or no on the following trade? I give up Michael Turner (my 3rd best RB by points this year, although would have been #1 or #2 if not hampered by injury) I also have Mendenhall and Thomas Jones (gotta decline at some point right????) . Lee Evans (my 5th best WR by points this year, and I only used him once, also have Harvin, Welker, Boldin, and Devry Henderson- Welker would most likely start next year on the PUP, so I would like to add a solid 3rd WR behind Harvin and Boldin). I get: Dwayne Bowe (Very down year, suspended, and also plays for the awful Chiefs) Chris Wells (not a bad rookie year, passed Hightower on the depth chart as the #1, but still RB by committee) Second round pick in the rookie draft. Being as this is a dynasty league, what do you think I should do? Wells may be better for the long term, but I think I can contend again next year with what I have. Thoughts???

I feel much the same way. Fortunately, 3 of the top 4 South teams are home games this year, and I think there's 9 wins out there for us if they play like they have since the Oral Roberts game. Yeah, I think our defense will help us knock off a Texas or Kansas (or some other team that is obviously better than us) at home. No matter what, I'm infinitely more excited about this team now than I was about a month ago. Can't wait for next Saturday. I am excited to see what KSU will do at Mizzou.

You should be excited, but you should be realistic. I'll bet you a 5 spot that you finish 3 games back of KU/Texas. I'll take that bet.

I'd take a friendly wager. Maybe I'm over confident, but I'm very excited about this team and the athletic ability they have. They'll be within a game, or two at worst.
