  1. Hahaha!
  2. Figured I'd check in. Sneaky, are you making Tootielicious proud? I'd love to see what you've amassed as a team.
  3. And the game in Ames was called differently? Look at the foul totals there, you were handed that game, on top of Hilton Magic. Why would you ever expect different in college basketball on a home court. I'm not disagreeing with you that it happens, but why bitch? It's almost guaranteed now adays on the road.
  4. It's going to be a tough game, especially with how lackluster our O has been. I've been impressed by MacGruder from what I've seen. I am baffled as to how Weber has been successful this year. Is his problem simply recruiting a balanced roster? That's my guess. Look what he did with Self's players at Illinois. I think he's a decent enough coach, but the talent he brings in isn't balanced and doesn't fit his system. You can't be baffled when the team he inherited has been to a few straight tourneys and has always played tough D. He's not playing a roster that includes his own guys. He's playing all Frank's old players.
  5. Tuesday we will see if Bruceketball keeps it close vs KU or gets blown out in his first big game at home. I like what he's doing with other people's players, but am still scared what he's going to do with his own in a few years.
  6. Glad to see you have someone that could take over my team. Do me proud, you do have the 3rd all time best record in the league!
  7. I thank aTm for what they did. People on these boards REALLY love Kansas State!
  8. And the days of Bruceketball at KSU begin today. Let's see how well he's embraced by the pro-Frank crowd!
  9. Sure looks like it. @ TCU is probably their toughest game left. If this happens does a one loss sec team jump them? Not a chance!
  10. Bill Snyder has to be one of the best coaches in the country. Amazing job he's doing at K-State. It's a damn shame that he wasn't recognized for it the first time around. He had to come out of retirement and do this for many people to notice. We have a shot of running the table, but will most likely lose one, as the Big 12 is tough. Damn though, I'd love for him to go out with a Ntl. Championship shot. He should have won one when I was at KSU in 98.
  11. We are GOOD!
  12. God, ISU always plays us too close. Wonder when Abuck will be here with excuses as to why KSU won this time.
  13. As I've wanted to do the last few years, I am finally going to retire team Tootielicious from Roadkill. No better time to do it than after winning the championship! Thanks to everyone for a great 11 or 12 years in this league, whenever we started it.... Don
  14. They are a pain in the ass to play. After I saw what OU did to them in Dodge City last season, I'm not too afraid of them unless they changed. Since their school is supposed to be stuck in the early 90s I'm thinking they haven't. Ha! Last year never matters.
  15. I thought it was 7 and 7, but it really doesn't matter either way. Get your 14 and we'll see what happens. Maybe the 4th time is a charm for me???
  16. I've never said I have been victimized, screwed over, cheated or unlucky. I just like saying I'm going to lose because it evidentally bothers you so much, and I enjoy being surprised when I don't end up losing. I don't think a team that sits #3 in the all time league standings and has been to now 4 championship games (granted I've never one one) is in any way unlucky, victimized, or has been screwed over. How could I ever complain about this? Northside Baseball 142 71 0 0.667 Galesburg Hand Sanitizers 137 78 0 0.637 Tootielicious 125 83 0 0.601 Ron Washington's Dealers 115 92 1 0.555
  17. If he makes the playoffs it'll be while having an illegal roster many weeks of the year. Really nice.
  18. So I take it that Chuck's win against me is going to stand even though you have taken points from him in other matchups for being over the roster limit. Seems fair to me. :-"
  19. Who even is our commish, and why hasn't my game vs Chuck been taken care of? He was illegal the entire week and I brought it up the first day in chat under live scoring. You take away 100 vs an opponent, you have to treat everyone else the same.
  20. I mentioned something in chat at the beginning of last week and nothing was done about it. I'm not here to babysit, but I did for one say that Chuck had an illegal roster when we were playing. I don't know why we even try with this league anymore. I've stuck around for 2 years hoping things would get better. I Have very limited time but produce a legal 7 start lineup every week. I'm guessing that this is my last year because it's not at all like it once use to be where every member actively participated. 12 years of it has been a nice run for me I guess.
  21. wow, unreal. he had 100.25 points thru wednesday. those points need to go. not only has this been going on for months apparently but this is not the only time this has happened with him. He beat me last week too with an illegal line-up and should have to forefeit that as well.
  22. When I said I was screwed, I meant with my request to get him added as 2b eligible.
  23. If I would have known that he shouldn't have been eligible there, I'd have never played him there. Never occurred to me to look since CBS had him eligible there. Notice, I'm not saying he should still be eligible there after going and looking at his 2011 stats.
  24. Here's the rule, and [expletive], I may be screwed: Positional eligibility is determined by a players current starting position or his past use. These rules are set forth on the league site as 10 appearances at a position in the current year or 20 the previous year. However, if a player is "named" the starter at a position, immediate eligibility will be granted by the commissioner upon request and general concurrence. Pitchers may be moved into either SP or RP positions freely but may only be used in the role they are used by their major league team. Pitchers in a position other than where they are used will not accrue points during that appearance. I guess CBS had Lawrie available to put at 2b because that's where he played in the minors. He played only 3b in the majors last year. I guess I just count myself lucky to have been able to play him at 2b all year thus far. Sigh.. Don't know why they change their eligibility now though.
  25. Our league rule is that if he played the required numer of games the previous year (either 5 or 10 games, I'd have to look back at the rules) then he's eligible. He's been eligible all year at 2b on CBS as I've had him there, and for some reason, now he's not.
