You've given up? I figured I'd waste my last hour at work hopelessly hitting F5 since I have nothing else to do today. Can't believe I missed it... I got some for Game 5. Have been constantly clicking on Game 1 and Game 2 and not getting anything. I think (at least at this moment) all the tickets that were available are gone. Oh. The best I could do when I got back to my computer was get the option to select 1 ticket for game 5, but couldn't get any reserved...
I have been checking that page roughly 10 times a day the last two days. Then I step away from my computer for 2 hours to talk over a project with someone else and I miss out :(
and there's no way it'll happen. How much beer sales can there even be in the two innings leading up to a clinch? That's not exactly the ideal beer consuming time.
Somehow I can't see the need for a VWR for the Bulls. I was hoping this thread was bumped to tell me Ben Gordon finally caved and signed. No, but the $10 seats for the more popular games will be gone in a blink of the eye.
I had just started my freshman year in HS and remember trying to convince my parents to let me go to game 163. I think I would have been too late to get tickets anyways, though.
Do you really believe that? Has anyone on this forum received notice that they won this so-called lottery? Yes, three or four have already posted in this thread that they have.
I'm not sure what you mean. Ticket sales are only held through cubs.com (or rather mlb.com by the looks of it). StubHub is a secondary market site. The Cubs aren't selling tickets on StubHub. Those are from individuals and it's no different than selling on eBay or craigslist. They're simply promoting StubHub as an alternative for those who didn't get selected in the lottery because they have an agreement with them, just like they've been doing all season long.
Really? I assume outfield, though, right? Those are few and far between. Bleacher tickets make up nearly half of those that they sell for playoff games and most of the 200 level seats are either in the back or in the corner.
