  1. A brain fart is an understatement. The replays pretty clearly showed that it was a fumble. That lone warrants a challenge, even if you couldn't tell right away that the Bears recovered on replay. That was not a block in the back! Geez.
  2. How the eff do you not challenge that!?!
  3. Throw the flag! And pray that the refs decided to actually pay attention to the fact that the Bears recovered the loose ball.
  4. Wow. Live, that didn't look like down by contact.
  5. Lloyd just abused Barber on that drive.
  6. Well that was refreshing.
  7. What a catch by Lloyd!!!
  8. Looks like a groin injury for Tillman...
  9. Blew the one time that Booker actually had a step on a defender.
  10. What about the fact that it was still an easy touchdown catch? I didn't say that the plan was for it to be underthrown. All I said was that it's not a big deal in that situation if it is. You seem to want to apply a WR's skillset to a RB. He didn't leap for the ball and catch it like Terrel Owens because that's not his, ehem, Forte. Orton's job is to put that ball on the money, and he failed as usual. Bottom line, that play was more Orton's fault than Forte's. That's my story, and I'm not changing it. Orton's junk Jon. You know this. This has nothing to do with Orton being the right QB for the Bears. I have no desire to see Orton play over Grossman. My point was that the individual play was not nearly as bad as others made it out to be. Forte didn't have to jump or do anything special to catch the ball. He just needed to catch it with his hands and not with his chest. It's not a special skill. If Forte had done his job, it's a TD. What a fake!

  12. Orton, you are an idiot.
  13. That was a good job by McKie to recognize early that Orton was going to run and block the defender off to allow Orton to dive for the first.
  14. The interception was luck, but Forte had his man beat and Orton underthrew the ball. It's still a mismatch and an underthrow isn't a huge deal when you have a big LBer in coverage who isn't going to look back for the ball. Forte did everything right up until the attempted catch. He tried to catch it like it was a kick return. Why criticize a running back for not displaying wide receiver skills when the ball was underthrown in the first place? The underthrow is a huge deal when your guy has a couple steps on the coverage. It's not like they just drew the play up on the sidelines. They've clearly practiced it and Forte should know how to catch a pass. It would be great if the throw was perfect, but in that situation, an underthrow isn't that bad. Since the LBer won't turn to look for the ball, the odds of clean interception are very low. An underthrow also significantly increases the chances for a PI call.

  16. I don't understand the hatred of that play. Had Forte not tried to catch the ball in his right armpit, it's a TD. And the interception was pure luck.
  17. What the heck... That was a good throw and Forte still should have come down with it. You can't catch a deep ball in coverage with your chest. Had he gone out and got it with his hands, it's 6.
  18. Tillman is something else.
  19. Nice return, Manning!
  20. That's one main reason why the board failed so miserably. Very few people are around for noon starts and only a fraction of those bothered to go to WCF.
  21. Alex Brown had his ankle wrapped but he doesn't want to leave the game.
  22. Do listen live at wbbm780.com. Disregard the message about them not being able to broadcast the game online.
  23. That was fast... Boy, the WBBM780.com feed is like 3 minutes behind. Had to pause my DirecTV feed for quite a while to have it catch up.
  24. I didn't expect to see the navy jerseys today, but the sun won't be too bad.
  25. What's Adams' deal anyway? How long is he out? He's not on the injury report and I don't believe he's hurt. He has just been inactive so far this season.
