Hester is officially out with a quad injury.

Hester has an apparent thigh injury. His return doesn't look good.

I saw that coming. TEs + Open Field + getting caught from behind = bad things happen. It looked like his last 5 steps were half as fast as his first 5. I'm not sure if he was just worried about the defender to his right, but there wasn't a reason to be that slow.

They can't create a whole to save their lives, but they're doing a very nice job in pass protection.

Forte did a nice job making himself look smaller in order to disappear behind the line.

I'm not sure I agree. Orton has had check-down options and there have been a couple of routes with slips or running into a teammate that disrupted them. The Vikings aren't covering people very well. And the line is giving Orton plenty of time.

How many TD passes should Orton have had if Booker didn't suck? The passing game is wide open. To paraphrase Donald Rumsfled: You play the game with the receivers you have not the receivers you want. The passing game WOULD be wide open if we had competent receivers. Bad receivers don't drop most balls that come their way. They drop a few and don't get open. They have been getting open. And if the Bears were to drop two more TDs in the 2nd half, it wouldn't be bad. It would be historically bad.

I'd like to know why Booker decided to take himself out of that route by moving away from the sideline and forcing himself to leap for it.

LaRoque is doing a nice job on special teams so far. He should get partial credit for that TD. And that was a nice punt by Maynard, particularly while under pressure.

The money is for tickets.com, but it's per order, not ticket. And since it's only tickets.com orders, of which there were maybe 7,500 tickets available per game, it's not quite as much. I only lost $3.50 in fees (FedEx delivery which never shipped instead of print at home), by the way.
