  1. Well, he was back in there tonight and batted 9th. He went 1-4 with a run scored after reaching on an error.
  2. The Bulls are playing terribly right now.
  3. The Bulls have come out very sloppy and trail by 5.
  4. But the Spurs will get the last shot. Great defense sends the game to OT!
  5. Bulls up 87-85!
  6. What the heck? Supposedly while one ref was talking to two players, another one handed the ball to San Antonio to inbound the ball. It resulted in a Kirk foul. Spurs with a hot start to the 3rd quarter.
  7. Gordon is heating up and the Bulls charge back from a 15-point deficit to trail by just 1 after 3 quarters.
  8. Shows what I know. Passes sold out in a couple of hours today and pairs are already selling for $300 on eBay.
  9. Had PSU lost that game (to NU) they probably would've finished 7-4 or 6-5. I really believe that And had Northwestern won it, I thought they would have done no better than 4-7 or 5-6. To me, that was their best shot at winning a Big Ten game this year. It's hard for me to dislike Iowa (mainly b/c they're not Michigan or Ohio State), but it was such a big, big win. They should go 1-1 the rest of the way on the road against Ohio State and Illinois, but the Sun Bowl isn't out of the question. If they go to the Music City Bowl, though, it should give them their best shot at winning their second ever bowl game.
  10. Those were two crappy teams that played that day. I never would have believed that we'd likely finish with a Big Ten record above .500 and Penn State would be talking BCS.
  11. If Northwestern plays like they did the past two weeks, the final will be about 45-10. The offensive line has gone from a pleasant surprise to complete shambles and the success in the air against Michigan State and Purdue has led to a mediocre running game at best over the past month. They've gotten away from the things that made them a good team, so I'd be completely shocked if they win in Columbus for the first time in 34 years. It also doesn't help that Basanez is coming off his worst game of the season. Then again, they don't exactly have much to lose (a loss means relatively nothing as long as they beat Illinois on the road to close the year) and have played their best game on the road. But with terrible special teams, it's going to take a heck of a lot from the defense to keep them in the game.
  12. Felix sat for the second straight game.
  13. Lovie didn't sound very worried about Jones' ribs prior to the game, so they might have underestimated the injury. No need to use him against the 49ers. 14. Forgot to post this earlier, but at halftime, Lovie was supposedly more animated than he's ever been. He was really yelling at the defense and called out the playmakers to do something.
  15. Bears gain a game on Detroit and Green Bay!
  16. Gould gives the Bears the lead with :06 remaining!
  17. Peterson was stumbling before he got that ball. Good thing he held onto it. 27-yard FG for the lead with :10 left.
  18. Watching Benson being taken down in the backfield.
  19. What a gutsy play call and great pass by Orton to Moose!!!
  20. Great job by Cedric to see that hole.
  21. Oh man. The refs cost the Bears a first down by an inch. And Lovie doesn't challenge it...ugh.
  22. Where's the holding call!?! You can't grab a defensive end's jersey as he's trying to get away and fling him to the ground.
  23. The middle of the field is quite open on this drive. :(
  24. Same rib injury, out for the rest of the game. Idonije not having the best of games penalty-wise.
  25. That's it, Cedric. He runs into a wall in the backfield and bounces outside for a gain of 32.
