Forward thinking, I like that. 8-) I've had the 3 group stage matches and the 2 possible round of 16 times marked off on my Outlook calendar for months. But I just remembered that my office is closed on Friday, July 2nd, so doesn't matter to me.

I was talking about the quarterfinals, not the round of 16.

I believe that if the US advances to the quarterfinals as the winner of the group, they'd play on a Friday afternoon. If they advance as the second team out of the group, they'd play on a Saturday morning. The lone negative to avoiding Argentina.

Honestly, I can't blame the ref too much for the red. Behrami was swinging his arm/elbow back at two defenders in a period of about 10 seconds and the last couple of swings were pretty aggressive. It was very blatant and very stupid. It should have just been a yellow, though.

Pretty questionable red card, but that Swiss player obviously hadn't been paying attention to this ref, who hasn't been taking any crap so far this match.
