    What a game and what a heartbreaker for Poland. I was pulling for them, too. And I still don't agree with that yellow card. But again, what a game.

    Looks like one was a line drive single to right. Nope. One yesterday, one the day before. i can't even figure out what your point is in this thread. you seem to be saying that bunting is the key to corey's success this year, even though it's been shown that he bunted successfully at the same rate in 2004 (when he wasn't very good). The point is that his numbers are poor when swinging at the ball. I believe that neither of those infield hits were bunts. I assumed you were referring to his two hits yesterday, but I guess you chose to ignore his single to right.

    Home plate ump misses two called third strike calls, the second base ump misses a clear CS, and now Jones chucks one 15 feet.

    Too bad I don't have an HDTV box because that slow motion replay of the headbutt really captured a nice loogie flying out. What a great chance that was. Not a solid header, but the pass was placed perfectly.

    Are you referring to the Swiss set piece where the deflection went off the post? That was so close. Should've had a goal there though. Yeah. Really had a good second chance, too, but made pretty bad contact with the defender bearing down on him.
