Forgot to post this earlier, but WBBM Radio has the radio highlights from each post-game show up on their website. The links are mixed in with other links, but when you find a highlights clip, just click the middle icon below it.
Damn, Herbert. You need to catch that. I've never seen a team so unwilling to run the ball on 2nd and 3rd and short. And McManis makes another great special teams play. Man he's good.
Brewer goes in at QB and surprise, messes up the option. He's never been good at it. And almost as shocking as Howells missing a FG, Slade shanks yet another punt.
That was a great catch. Great concentration. I find it rather odd that two of the main receivers next year could be converted QBs (Peterman and Brewer). I guess it's a good thing Peterman decided not to make the conversion to corner this summer.
Haven't seen Hart cough it up like that before. NU's offensive line is doing surprisingly well so far. Argh. Bacher had Lane for 6 but just overthrew him.
Come on, Hinrich. Not that isolating ABs by batting order is a great way to judge a leadoff hitter, but he was 30th out of 31 hitters at the top of the order among major league hitters with at least 300 ABs there with an OBP of .321. Only Biggio was worse. As has already been said, Figgins just isn't a good player.
I know Mizzou asked a question about jerseys a little while ago, but I was at Sears today (the one on Lawrence two blocks west of Ravenswood) and saw Reebok Walter Payton throwback jerseys (non-EQT, only screen printed numbers and name) for just $55. I've never seen a Payton jersey that cheap before and I haven't seen those online.
