    Apparently McGowan is active today. Miami won the toss and will receive.

    I read about it. Apparently they intentionally committed two false starts to run 20 seconds off the clock before punting, giving Penn State virtually no time to do anything. That rule needs to be changed to ref's discretion. Don't run off any time if the offensive team will benefit from it.

    I loved Urlacher's response to a reporter telling him that many believe the key to beating the Bears is the short passing game: He should know that that win was a one in a million thing, and that Arizona did expose the Bears in a way. But I saw the interview last night, and it was pretty funny. Eh. We'll see. The linebacker play was pretty darn bad in the first quarter+. It was like that at times at Minnesota, but if they had played like they should have played, I doubt Arizona would have had as much success with it.

    It's kind of strange and it probably depends on which network the game is on. For example, last week, the radio broadcast started out over 5 seconds ahead of the television broadcast. About 20 minutes later, though, it synced up pretty well. But sometimes it never really syncs up at all. You'll just have to see.

    Maybe I should just start complaining about the officiating now and not wait until they blow this lead (bogus hold to take off an NU TD, non-PI call on the INT at the 5, bogus 15-yard penalty on Lane after being shoved on the sideline, non-call on a big hold on Tate's 3rd down pass to the 5...).
