Florida State is 7th?? Can that be right? EDIT: Article was just edited to say Florida is 7th. That makes more sense.

I doubt Deuce moves his family out of London. For me it's either Arsenal or he stays at Fulham. As a sports fan used to North American sports, it still boggles my mind that London can support 5 (!!) soccer teams playing in the same league. Why? It's not all that different than Chicago supporting the Bulls, Blackhawks, Sox, Cubs, and Bears. It's not like they have other huge sports draws. Well, people are fans of all those teams at the same time. I doubt people in London are fans of every London club at the same time. I would just most would just pick a team and stick with it, like Cubs/Sox or Giants/Jets.

They're certainly not top 10 good. I hope they finish undefeated to see how high they climb in the polls, and to see what the committee does with them. They're currently sitting at an RPI of 28, which I have trouble seeing go much higher. I'd probably give them a 5-6 seed if they went undefeated, and an 8-9 if they went in with a loss. That 1996 Princeton team that came into the tournament 25-1 got a 5 seed. The 2006 GW team that came into the tournament 26-1 got an 8 seed. The Ohio Valley is terrible, so Murray State's best win of the year is likely either the Memphis game or whoever they play in the Bracket Busters matchup. Could end up undefeated without playing a single tournament team on the year. The 2006 GW team came into the tournament with 2 losses. They lost in their conference tournament to Temple as well. And don't forget 2003-2004 St. Joe's, who went 27-1 and got a no. 1 seed.

I actually liked the call. also presumably they saw something on the game tape with the giants not looking ready for an onside kick. not a bad play if the kick is good and the giants aren't ready for it. Any play call is good if it works.

I'm saying the SEC West is strong because 3 of the top 5 teams in the country are in it, including the top two teams who have dominated the competition outside of each other. It's circular logic because it only had 3 of the top 5 teams because people voted them that way. It's the textbook definition of circular logic. People voted them that way for good reason.

Uniquely strong? Uniquely strong, not a single computer rating had them at the top:http://masseyratings.com/cf/compare.htm The only reason the SEC was given the top two spots in the BCS was because of the voters. So the voters recognized how strong the SEC voting was this year by voting the SEC strong. I'll be curious what the conference rankings would be if you just compare the top 5 teams in each league. I don't care about the cellar dwellers.

I replied and said "Unbelievable finish. Doesn't hurt that the Steelers were pretty banged up. Still, a win is a win, especially in the playoffs!" To which he replied: "Son, get out of here with that "injury" crap. You either show up to play or you don't. The Steelers didn't show up. Period." I still can't tell if he's just REALLY good at trolling, or just that ignorant. Either way, I didn't take the bait, as tempting as it was. I can't wait until Tebow puts up a 66.6 passer rating in a game.
