    Yep, they're done. I think the committee will consider the fact that Curry did not play that game, and should he be healthy when the tournament goes around, that loss would not mean anything.

    One good thing to come out of setting college basketball back 50 years tonight is that the NIT is the more prestigious tournament.

    I've liked Bradley before and feel that he has gotten a raw deal from both the media and fans. I think he's gonna be one of my favorite Cubs this season.

    It was 30 minutes before tipoff that I remembered the NU/Illinois game was today. It was 10 minutes before tipoff when I drove to Welsh Ryan with no ticket and no plan. It was 15 minutes after tipoff when I scalped one ticket at the door. GREATEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!!

    I would think Ichiro would be less likely to get hurt pitching than playing the outfield. That said, something tells me that the WBC means a lot more to Japan and Japanese players than it does to the US. Perhaps cause Japan is the defending champs?

    No. Wikipedia is a pretty trustworthy source. It is much better than it was a few years ago. In defense of all things Wikipedia http://news.cnet.com/Study-Wikipedia-as-accurate-as-Britannica/2100-1038_3-5997332.html What makes their panel of experts any more reliable than Brittanica or Wikipedia?
