On what planet and for what reason? Planet Earth and because Hoffpauir might be just as good as him. Actually, it would make a lot more sense to stick Hoff at 1B and dump Lee on a team dumb enough to take his contract, because you'd save $10M and not be saddled with a league-average first baseman, but unfortunately since Bill Bavasi and Jim Bowden are now unemployed, there may not be a MLB GM dumb enough to take on Lee's contract without demanding a bunch of money at the same time. So what do you plan to do with the $10M that you'd save? I hope you don't suggest the owners pocket that money themselves.

Heh. Here, they cut away from Dayton with 25 seconds left to go to Boise with 15 seconds left. I've never seen them cut away from a game where a team only led by 1 with 25 seconds left. Same here ... CBS was put into a tough spot there.
