    My son's got a sweet deal. One of the h.s. groups is going down from the Joliet area to see the Cards-Cubs game next Sunday. Ten bucks total, ticket and bus ride.

    The Dodgers have just been hitting the ball right and left all night, off of everyone. Good showing by them. Too bad the Cubs did not show up.

    And the minute that base-running blunder occurred, I bet a majority of Cubs fans predicted what would happen next, and it did. He made a mistake and he is a professional. Clear it out of your head and get over it.

    I want any Cubs team make the playoffs, but I'll admit, if it does happen, this isn't the way I pictured it going down. Two great months (June and July) plus a weak division might just = a playoff spot. Stay tuned. But I'll take it! I know what the OP is saying. Could be embarrassing, but good teams get beat, too, so let's have a shot.

    Well, if he wants fans that don't care and don't know the game, then he needs to find a new city. They exist. As a lifelong Cubs fan I think it's insulting that he tells us fans "he'll remember this" for next time. I hope he does show us all! That'll have meant he pitched good an got a win. Fine by me. Get a grip Z. Quit blaming others.
