  1. OK, Sammy boy, start getting loose....
  2. Better have "Spark" as his middle name We will be changing our last name to Spark. Samuel Spark. That kid is gonna get picked on!
  3. What is the question? Who is a better leadoff hitter than Alfonso Soriano?
  4. FULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alfonso who?
  5. If Soriano or Bradley did that they'd be out the rest of the season.
  6. Yea it sucks to see the lead already cut in half but if someone told me we would have a two run lead going into the bottom of the 2nd i would probably have said "no way." True. I love how we Cubs fans are always resetting the bar. Keeps us sane.
  7. I know. Got caught up in the euphoria of the moment, rare that it is this season.. but... GO CUBS!
  8. Got to enjoy that 4-run lead for a whole 5 minutes
  9. The at bats by Fuld and Fox were incredible....
  10. I have a feeling Milt's gonna have a good game tonight.
  11. I don't know if I want to laugh or cry when I read a post about the outfield "coming around." The season is half over! It's July 1! If it happens, all the better, but if you ask me, the season starts in early April and my "eternal" optimism is running on empty, especially with this outfield.
  12. Makes me wonder why Ozzie is behind Lou. I don't know either Lou or Ozzie personally, and while I am a Cubs fan, I can be objective and I couldn't see choosing Ozzie over Lou if it came to that as a choice. I just can't stand what I've seen of Ozzie in the media .... sure makes me want to hear the backstory from the guys that voted for Lou on this one.
  13. LOL, love the eternal Bradley optimism!
  14. Their problems scoring go WELL beyond Soriano at this point. He is the number one culprit. You have a leadoff hitter who NEVER and I mean NEVER ignites a rally to start a game. I've been saying that for a while now here, and when he does snap out of it for short periods of time, the results are good.
  15. Sure, but they'll stink, too. If Aramis is smart he'll opt for surgery and just stay out the rest of the year. If he was smart he wouldn't be watching any of these games since he's been hurt. Ignorance is bliss.
