He had ONE good outing in the World Series for the Mets and everyone stumbled around trying to get him in the off-season after that as a free agent. I couldn't believe it when I found out how much the Rockies agreed to pay him. He promptly did nothing for them, and everyone was shocked. Bah.

How many times have the Cubs NOT given up the lead in the first inning in home games? Seems like more than half the time they play they're playing from behind before they even pick up the bats.

I was sitting there just a few rows up from 3rd base.....that was a badass play. I thought the runner had crossed home plate before the runner got tagged at 3rd, but oh well, I still liked the call. :lol: -

Freaking sweet....so do I. Too bad they're general admission. :( The binocs are ready.... I must have gotten in before the rush, I got RG above the walkway with legroom behind the dugout. Well, I can't complain too much, they're free tickets I got from a friend as his dad's work has some sort of promotional thing going on. I'll just have to make sure to get there early to get a decent seat.

What a turnaround....for both of these clubs, in the past few years. In 2003, Detroit was darn near the worst team in the history of baseball, and the Cubs were a few outs away from the World Series. Now, the Cubs are darn near the worst team in baseball this year and the Tigers are pretty much the best. Ugh.
