Great job giving D-Lee a day off for a nationally televised game. Doesn't matter to me what the past few games have been like for him, he's still the marquee player on this team.... -
Geesh....save some of these runs for the other games! Shouldn't say that though, I'm sure the Mets will come back on us...they still have 2 innings of batting left.

that's why i had to get directv. Yeah, I just saw the note on the bottom of the ESPNEWS screen saying they won't be showing the game in the Chicago area. I guess even though we're 400 miles away, we're in the area here in Des Moines. :evil: :evil: What the f***!! We've already got ESPNEWS on one of the stations on our cable, what the hell is the problem with showing regular ESPN right now? Now I have 2 channels of recycled sports news. Yay. :roll:

OK, ESPN is showing ESPNEWS here on our cable in Des Moines right now. If ESPN has blacked out the coverage here in this area I'm going to be severely pissed since we don't get CSN here.

Sucks, since I rely on these game threads to keep up with the games, since our wonderful Des Moines area cable monopoly..err, provider, decided not to obtain Comcast SportsNet. Don't get the AM station that carries the Cubs very well in this house either...
