ESPN had a good breakdown not too long ago of his salary versus his stats. I think that each K he's logged under this contract has cost the team who is paying him about $250K. Could be the biggest bust and waste of a contract of all time. Could see it coming a mile away too when the Rockies were negotiating that massive contract for him after his mediocre playoff performances when he was with the Mets.
