You know Ozzie is going to keep his starters in for all 9 innings today..He has an obsession with beating the Cubs even if it's just ST..Was it last year that we had all our minor leaguers in and he sends up Thome and Konerko in the 9th just so they could get the game winning RBI?

Of course when theyre off the Cubs they usually start doing good. Angel Pagan had a two-run triple and saved at least one run with a diving catch in left field Tuesday against the Red Sox. Even if the Mets pick up an outfielder before Opening Day, it's hard to imagine Pagan not making the team. He's 15-for-32 with a couple of steals during March. -

Not good. Alfonso Soriano's finger was more swollen than expected monday, making a return early this week unlikely. "His finger was really swollen today," manager Lou Piniella said. "I don't know (how long) -- a week or so. He'll have to tell us. It's going to be a while. It's not going to be a matter of 2-3 days." When they announced the injury yesterday, the Cubs said Soriano would likely miss 3-5 days. Source: Chicago Tribune
