    I think that no matter what happens to the Cardinals this year, there is absolutely no hope for the Cubs' season. its not like the NL central is that good, the Cards are by far the best team, but take away huge players and they arent going to dominate. Cincinatti is a fluke and will fall back and the astors have fallen below 500. only 2 teams are above 500, 1 being cincy which dosent have pitching and St Louis which has some very very vital players going lame. its not like the cubs are 11 games back with 30 games left. to be honest with you, eventhough this wont likely happen, the cubs are probably in the best shape because Lee and Prior are coming back and key players are starting to produce.
