    in spite of what dan bernstein might say, you cannot swallow your own tongue. bashing out the guy's teeth was unnecessary. just lay the guy on his side to keep his airway open and save him a pricey dental bill. sounds like schneider, being uninformed, overreacted. When a person is having a seizure, you cannot lay them on their side. I've never heard of someone choking on their tongue, so I cannot say whether it is possible or not, but I do know it is highly unsafe and somewhat unlikely to try to turn a person having a seizure on their side. Unless they're vomiting there shouldn't be a problem keeping their airway open. Herm Schneider is a gluttonous slob. Regardless of this, Herm Schneider may or may not be a competent trainer. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything.

    Well, there's this and this. Come to think of it, I might need to get a Marquis shirt to wear around all these Cardinals fans in So. Ill. My luck he'll probably have a 6.50 ERA by the time my shirt arrives.

    As with anything having to do with the Cubs, I'm cautiously optimistic, yet expecting crappiness. I just flat out did not understand why the Cubs got Marquis when Suppan was on the market, it just leads me to believe that Rothschild saw something significantly wrong the last year and thought that it was very fixable. Like many, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, but hats off to this guy, he's been awesome.
