If you have the fastest guy on the team already in scoring position I think it's time to let your #2 hitter swing away. not true...if cedeno pops out, then either walker or ramirez need to get a hit to drive him in...when cedeno moved him over, it allowed walker to drive one to the outfield, and have pierre test the OFs arms That's small-ball thinking. Not my style. well with maddux pitching, three runs is gold

But was it a sac bunt or Ronny trying to get on by a bunt on his own? the bunt was supposed to make the 3B come in and field it so pierre could advance to third with one out...a bunt for a single would have been either much softer down the line, or pushed further up the middle, trying to slap it past the mound
