Since Eyre went on the DL retroactive to June 27, he should be eligible to come off July 12 (saturday). Has there been any word on if he'll come back then or if the cubs will just wait until the first day after the break?

Lou said on his pregame interview that rich will meet with hendry and mark oneal tomorrow and they will decide when he will pitch again. Lou seems to think he will pitch again friday or saturday

From Lou's Pregame Interview: For tonight, the cubs will stay with 13 pitchers, but that may change tomorrow. Harden will meet with oneal and hendry tomorrow and tomorrow they will know when he will pitch again. Lou said he would probably pitch in the San Fran series this weekend.
