My grandma isn't busy this afternoon, I'm sure she'd be able to swing by and play short for a few innings too. Also, why is he hitting in FRONT of Pie??? Pie had a 649 OPS against LHP in the minor leagues last year. There at least probably isn't that much difference right now between Cedeno and Pie when batting against LHP. As far as Cedeno at all, they seem to think that when a LHP takes the mound is a good day to rest Izturis. As for Blanco, 20 AB's against a pitcher is simply not enough to rest Barrett when Blanco just started on Tuesday. Is Cedeno the only other option at SS?

I got home after 6 innings. I thought, o well its the cubs. I checked the score mid 7th. I was pumped. I've been watching since ... Which loss is most painful. Friday (lost game in 5th), Sunday (6th inning 1st,3rd no outs), or today?

Miller gives up 6 hits and 4 walks and it's tied, you're darn right I'm ecstatic. but, but a 5.40 ERA with a 2.00 WHIP is never acceptable, right GOONY? Correct. It's an unacceptable performance by the pitcher. I'm ecstatic that they were lucky enough to still be in the game. I thought it was a quality start by Miller! He had less then his best and battled!!!! You can't be serious. He didn't have less than his best. That is his best. His best is bad. And he was lucky to get out of there with a performance that works out to a 5.40 ERA and a 2.00 WHIP. EDIT - Thought so. ;) What´s his ERA for the season?
