Wow this is terrible.

It shouldn't even be a possibility, though. Dempster is a proven failure as a starter. Which makes me question Piniella's decision making. The man can clearly read a stat sheet properly based on his position player decisions (for the most part). What about making a failed starter a starter again makes any sense? Let's see if Piniella actually makes Demp a starter. He could have just been trying to end media interrogation.

Hendry's extension? That's number one on the short list. Signing Baker?

What could be wrong with that plan? You mean aside from every part of it? Piniella hasn't impressed me at all as far as his in game management goes. Yeah, he says all the right things, and his lineups and generally sane. I like that Izturis found the bench and he has Theriot starting. However, his management of pen roles is idiotic, and his PH patterns and late game substitutions are not very good at all. And now this. This is a move that makes the team so much weaker. It was sarcasm.

The speculation is Marmol. That was more our advice than what's inside Lou's head.

Make sure to mention your surgery in the next mark prior thread as well as those effects you were telling me, i.e. most people recover a lot of strength, some even better than before the surgery...etc. ya, i learned a lot about mark's situation going through this myself, most people who have written him off as done are people who don't know very much about the surgery. It's different going through it yourself and talking to all the doctors than just looking it up on the internet. Next time there is some sort of Prior is done thread, ill write something. To add also, sure I cant tell you exactly how Mark is doing since each case could be slightly different, but I can tell you how my progress is with it to give at least some information as to how he might be recovering. As of now im still sore and cant externally rotate or lift my arm above my shoulder. I start my rehab in about a week, and should be on target to throw by late september, probably october Good luck with rehab, man.

It was a low-pressure inning, and I know about small sample size, but he looked good yesterday.

So far Angel is a better bench player than I expected. Same for Ward.
