    I'm still wondering why everyone is allergic to KU in this. Cause KU brings nothing to the table. I'd rather have Missouri yay No offense to SSR, but I highly doubt his opinion is weighed significantly in this process. :P

    Yeah...and I wasn't really arguing about the validity of the advantage...I just didn't know about the rule.

    Thanks! I realized it was a physical rather than emotional thing...but I didn't know about that rule. That makes sense though...I always kinda wondered why one guy got to kinda float in there, but I didn't make the connection.

    I know others have picked at this lineup already, but why is Soto hitting behind Tracy? Tracy is WSR's newest crush due to his minor league numbers. It'll end messily, as these things always do. Prepare for his cries of "DFA TRACY!" by the end of the month. Ah...yeah that's where the problem is. I was basing it on Tracy being average or below average every season he's played with a single exception in 2005. And not being very close to average since 2007. So yeah, my bad.

I feel like this Flyers team there's always an agenda to what they say. To be fair, it's part of a longer quote that's a bit more upbeat. But taken by itself...yeah, its odd.

The trial did start in 2006, ended in Feb 2007. Care to rephrase?

    You guys are embarrassed over a photoshopped picture? There's TONS of those all over the internet...the only difference here is that this was put out in print media, which from what I've been told, is pretty much dead anyway. They're just trying to get readers guys...

    I hear ya...but to me, there should've been a Hawk close enough to swat away a short rebound anyway...or at least fight for it. I mean, by the time you yell to Niemi, and he locates the puck, it probably is too late anyway. Either Niemi had to know he missed it, or another Hawk has to be there. I think it was just a lack of experience thing...I think with his success so far, we keep forgetting that Niemi is awfully inexperienced.

    I know it looked bad, but I don't think it was him not being sure where the puck was. I think he was "sure" it was under him. Instead, it kind of trickled down the outside of his leg. Still a bad mistake on his part, but I didn't think it was quite how you portrayed it.
