    I read an article about this topic, maybe this one, earlier. These are the same people who insisted there was no way this team could function without bringing Kreutz back. Garza has no case for an extension. He's an old replacable piece. This is Garza's last year on his deal. You comfortable with Spencer in there? I mean...if you are, that's cool. I simply was pointing out that there's guys that have contracts expiring, and that if you do want to extend them, that is probably more important that tacking on extra money to a guy that has 3 years left.

    Cuts don't have to be till tomorrow, but some are coming out today. Bears cut Jake Laptad, the guy that was long snapping in place of Mannelly last night.

    Still gotta do other extensions. Forte first. Garza is one that is gonna need to get done too. Plus it sets a precedent for future players that aren't happy in the middle of their contract.

    Of course not. But every year there's surprises, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of those teams doesn't live up to the hype. I do wish we were playing Atl later in the season, when it was colder in Chicago.

    Good news. Peter King has the Bears 8-8, the Lions 10-6, and the Falcons winning the Super Bowl. Since King is always incredibly wrong, this can only be a good omen for the Bears.

    Stafford hurt his shoulder twice, and ended his rookie season on IR with knee issues. He has durability concerns.

    Are you high? Stafford has missed 19 games in his first 2 seasons. Bradford hasn't missed a game due to injury, and Brees has only missed 2 games since 2004. I mean, I get defending your QB...but come on. Stafford clearly has durability issues.

    hey, don't be hating because my QB plays through injury Stafford has missed 19 games in 2 seasons. He has 19 TD's to 21 Int's. And if W-L Record is your cup of tea, he's 3-10. I don't think you wanna start comparing QB's.

    The Taylor thing is a cluster [expletive] now. Apparently Lovie never told Taylor he was being cut. Taylor went to talk to Lovie about why he didn't play this past week, and somehow out of that, Taylor took away that he was being cut and left the facility. Then the Bears corrected the situation to the agent. Taylor came back and talked to Angelo, and was given the rest of the day off to cool down. He's expected at practice tomorrow, but still expected to be cut by Saturday. Your Chicago Bears!
