Nobody is satisfied that the defensive staff left, but that wasn't a Bears choice, that was the coaches begging out because of loyalty to Lovie. I have to wonder why anybody isn't satisfied that we blew up the offensive staff. It was the Bears choice to fire Lovie and then hire a CFL coach who many NFL coaches likely view as unqualified to get the job. That was a good way of forcing your defensive staff's hands. You can't just make a "bold" choice without thinking about the ramifications. Well, there's some assumption there, but I'll agree with your conclusion that you have to think about ramifications, but ultimately, the overhaul of the offense was the priority here.
