    They do? I haven't heard that sentiment in a while. I saw some comments, over in the Hawks thread I think, about people saying the Hawks wouldn't have been able to go on such a run if they were in the east. I know it was only one game, but I was really underwhelmed by both Toronto and Montreal, both of whom are pretty far up the standings. I think part of that is that everybody wants to have their team be the ones that end the streak, and of course, the east teams aren't going to get that opportunity.

    I'm fine with no pinstripes. I hate the "pointed" C on the caps though. Too much like the Reds. I'd actually really like navy instead of "Cubbie blue" though.

    Just was looking through the schedule. We get Nashville three times in the first week of April. Wow.

    So, the Blues haven't played since Saturday. And so Hitchcock apparently ran them through some really hard practice on Tuesday, and somehow Andy McDonald and Alex Steen both got hurt during that practice. McDonald ends up on the IR. Steen is day to day, and it's possible he plays tonight. In any case, bravo Hitchcock.

    Apparently, depending on performance, KC could be sending SF two 2nd rounders. The 2013 one is the only one certain though.

    Ive heard the FO wants Urlacher, Roach and Idonije back. I think change is good and u can upgrade at least 2 of those defensive positions while also getting younger. I suspect they'll try to keep the D as stable as possible so they can get another year out of it, in order to focus on fixing the offense this year.

    @AndrewSiciliano If the @49ers get the Chiefs 2nd rounder, SF will have 15 picks in 2013, including 5 in the top 93.

    ugh what a hack umm actually, fans in hockey do cheer good defense. often. also, no, defense does not win you games. it can only prevent you from losing. Rozner is the only one that can see the beauty of defense.

    Some kind of hidden meaning going on there, but I don't know what it is :). What's with the theatre mask? Glass of milk? Someone's trying to tell Rip he's not a good actor and needs to drink more milk instead of booze -- otherwise he's gambling away his chance at a ring. Well I'm pretty sure the mask is simply trying to recreate his game mask.

    Jeff Dickerson just said on the radio that he's heard the coaches and players all want Urlacher back, that it's a matter of getting the money done.

    Apparently the Alex Smith to KC deal is done, just waiting till 3/12 to be official. SF gets at least a 2nd rounder. KC promising a commitment to Smith. Probably a contract extension. SF is making out like a bandit, imo. I don't think Smith will be nearly as good away from Harbaugh.
