Walterfootball's final 2 mocks have us taking DT Sheldon Richardson-LB Arthur Brown in one draft and CB Desmond Trufant-LB Kevin Minter in the other one.

Kiper and McShay both released their final mocks. Kiper has the Bears with Te'o in the first. McShay has us with Ogletree. Yep. I was watching that thinking how much those two deserve each other. Not defending Stone, but don't you think he's just trying to keep the peace after the disagreements they had with each other last year? I mean the Reinsdorf thing came out of nowhere. Honestly, I'd forgotten about any past drama with them. I just don't like either guy, so stick em together.

i was listening in Brazil If I'm being honest, my Hawks fandom really began at that game. I watched games occasionally before that, but I was a full on bandwagoner after that, and have really stuck to it. Just was watching some highlights from game 6 of that series. I'd forgotten about the weird goal from center ice of Kane's foot.

I'm not a massive fan of Sveum, but he's not going anywhere. Like jersey said, there's been almost zero expectations to meet here, other than to not completely [expletive] up young players.

I saw some Hart rankings article the other day and they had Toews 5th...there was another one (B-R though) that had him 1st, but I don't think there's enough buzz out there for him to win it. i would disagree about the no buzz thing. crosby is obviously the leader, but it's not like toews is some unknown schmo having a career year. yzerman never won the hart, i think that toews could win based upon the idea that he's the spiritual successor to one of the greatest ever who was robbed of the most prestigious award. I think the fact that he's at least 50-50 to win the Selke is what hurts his chances of winning the Hart. Just like Ovie won't get the Hart because he's going to win the Rocket Richard. Plus I think him and Kane actually split the Blackhawks vote.

B&B are really a crap shoot for me. There's days that I love them and days that I hate them. They're at their worst when taking phone calls, because they actively screen the calls to take the most moronic folks they can, so they can stomp them down.

Roses is basically using up the majority of his goodwill that he gained over his first 4 years with the Bulls. He was accessible, said all the right things, won an MVP, led the team to the best record in the NBA 2 years in a row, etc. People are frustrated, but the media is going to treat him better than Cutler, who is known to be aloof. I gotta tell ya, I'm chuckling over everyone losing their minds on this. When he comes back, and is his usual self, especially if he has an improved jumper, none of that is going to matter. Everybody's gonna be all giddy that he's back, and move along happily watching him, buying his jerseys, and forgetting that this year even happened. I don't know about forget. Things will be more or less back to normal, but a lot of fans (especially the meatballs, and on this subject I admit to having some meatbally tendencies) aren't going to just fail to remember that he basically punted a season. Unless/until, of course, he leads a team to a championship, which as we've seen over and over again is the cure-all for any athlete, especially an NBA player. LOL @ DRose leading a team to a championship Omg hilarious.
