I can. Unless they were telling him he'd go number 1, he pretty much went when he should have gone. You beat my edit. When I wrote that, I was assuming that they told him that he'd be a first round pick based on him being at the draft.
Heh, Geno Smith fired his agents. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000165513/article/geno-smith-fires-agents-after-falling-to-new-york-jets?campaign=Twitter_atl Oooooook.
Lower body injury, they're gonna call up a goaltender (sorry forgot his name), but it's not for sure how long Backstrom will be out. I doubt he plays Friday, at least. Speculation is that it's a groin injury.
It helps when your team is dropping 5 guys back on defense all the time. They had more shots blocked (7) in the first period than saves (6), and 21 blocked shots for the game.
Haha I doubt that any team in the NHL cheers when the opponent is one of the 3 stars. Especially in a playoff game. Also, regarding the Wild fans, I'm going to guess they all think they can win the series now? I think they're letting themselves be encouraged that they can make some noise. I don't think many really think that they'll win the series.
Reading some of the Wild fans comments on the HFboards. They're all bent out of shape cuz the fans booed Harding during the 3 stars presentation. I thought as it was happening that he really deserved some cheers from the Chicago crowd, but I think it's a bit much to EXPECT that as a road team.
Man playoff hockey is the [expletive] bomb. Harding was great but the Wild had no offense cz they were so worried about helping on D. Hopefully the Hawks see how far out Harding was playing all night when they watch tape and use that next game. Woo playoffs!!!!
I seem to be seeing a lot of people picking them to lose in the finals. Yeah, I've seen that some, but I've also seen a lot of people picking the Kings or Blues to get to the finals. http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2013/4/30/4286206/stanley-cup-playoffs-predictions-2013 http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/30/pht-staff-picks-whos-going-to-win-the-stanley-cup/
On the afore mentioned Mulley and Hanley show this morning, they referred to this as a "second strike", as if somehow this was comparable to the bat incident.
