Old rule that's just never been changed. Really? Seems to make sense so the kid isn't in the position of picking exams or a team requirement. So change the rule that it only applies if you're enrolled that semester/quarter. It doesn't make sense for a kid that finishes school in December (like the vast majority of draftees tend to do) not to be able to workout with his new team.
Mac and Spiegs are gonna talk to Florio in a couple min about this issue. Florio? What does he know about anything? He's a lawyer? *Shrug* I think it was just that they talk to him weekly so more coincidence than anything. Anyhow, Florio didn't say anything more than what we know by reading that bit you posted.
Thunderous applause. People still do, and still want to, love DRose. I agree mostly, but I think there will be a contingent of angry fans, though maybe those fans are mostly home viewers.
Obviously jumping way ahead, since I'm not quite buying the rumor....but I genuinely wonder what kind of reception Rose would get if he played on Friday.
Here's the apparent source of that Rose rumor. And they make clear that it's a "possibility", not confirmed. http://www.hoopsworld.com/derrick-rose-may-suit-up-in-game-3
More than that it's just playing lock down defense against a team that can't score against anyone. They've had good chances. Crows playing well though. He is, but he's really not gotten tons of saves. Wild can't shoot on goal.
