That's the good thing about this year, whatever happens there won't have to be a firesale. Saad stepped up this year. A new guy will need to step up next year. That's the only way it's going to work with so much high-priced talent on this team. We can't keep the $3-4 million role players. And that's okay as long as the younger guys do progress and the team continues to draft well. I look forward to seeing Teravainen in a few years. So, as a relatively new hockey fan, I've wondered this....is the NHL happy with the amount of movement of players in the league? Subjectively, it seems like more than any other sport, player movement is a given. I don't think there's many/any players that play for a single team their whole careers. And I suppose that's true in a lot of other sports, but it seems especially rare in hockey.
