I'm really liking the lines tonight too. If they load up against that top line, hopefully we can get some contributions lower down the roster. I think that Saad, Shaw, Stalberg line has potential.

any updates from an entity that covers hockey? Speaking of, man has the local media been annoying. So many people that don't know jack about hockey suddenly having to cover it and talk about it, and work themselves up into a lather because the Hawks last a game last night. That's par for the course outside of Canada. It's true. These folks have no clue. The attention for the team and the sport is great, and perhaps the hockey knowledge they have matches much of the bandwagon listeners at this point. I'm not complaining about casual hockey fans. It's great. I'm not complaining about casual hockey fans at all...just casual hockey media. Those are closer to the same thing than they should be.

He's been phenomenal, and there are suggestions he is playing himself onto the olympic roster next year for Canada. Which may be good or bad news for the Hawks. Perfect description of the game. I just knew they weren't going to score. Really didn't have a legitimate chance. Whereas the last game I threw my hands up 4-5 times in the first period, I never once got excited like, "ok, we're going to score here". Maybe it was the team's lack of energy, but I knew it wasn't going to end well. Similar feeling, but it was more of an expectation that they'd lose game 3 and then win the next three. With Hossa being out on short notice, I didn't have a great feeling. I'm not hockey expert, not by a long shot....but I think what the Bruins really unique ability is, is blocking pucks. Not only does it help out Rask, but a lot of their blocks kick out past the defensemen and allow for breakaways for Boston. I'd like to see the Hawks shoot on the move more often rather than stop and shoot. Easy for me to say.
