Hockey playoffs are better than baseball playoffs. I watched the 2003 playoffs. I watched both of the Hawks Stanley Cup runs. I wanted them both equally, both had their drama, but hockey playoffs are just better. They're just different styles. Hockey is all about speed, and baseball is all about the slow, torturous build of anticipation or fear, depending on how the game is going. It ultimately comes down to personal preference. But I'll tell ya, I'd watch a hockey playoff game between two teams that I'm not a fan of....I don't do the same with baseball. I'm unlikely to watch much, if any, of the baseball playoffs this year...unless it's to hate-watch the Cardinals, hoping they lose. I watched a lot of of non-Blackhawks playoff games and was highly entertained. I admit, the Cubs have really quashed my interest in baseball quite a bit over the last few years, but I've long thought that the hockey playoffs were the best playoffs in sports.
