  1. Wait what....could Nate come back?
  2. So, does this kill the Kevin Love fantasy for Bulls fans?
  3. We won't lock the playoffs thread, and will use that thread for more talk about the parade, and other general celebration. But with the draft and free agency coming up fast, we do need a thread for that discussion. I'll start with this article about how cheap goaltending may be the way to go: http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/blog/eye-on-hockey/22518774/the-most-valuable-commodity-in-hockey-cheap-goaltending
  4. Pornhub.com checked out their traffic for Monday night. During the game, the traffic in Chicago and Boston was way down. Not surprising. But after the Hawks won, the traffic in Chicago remained low, but the traffic in Boston skyrocketed. http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/blog/eye-on-hockey/22524719/study-boston-turns-to-porn-after-game-6-loss-in-stanley-cup-final http://sports.cbsimg.net/images/nhl/blog/062513_pornhub.jpg
  5. The radio call is quite good as well.
  6. Season/postseason is over...how'd that happen?
  7. The 3rd period comment thread here is also quite good. http://www.stanleycupofchowder.com/2013/6/24/4461378/public-skate-game-6-third-period-bruins-1-blackhawks-1
  8. yeah, he was disappointingly professional Yep. I should've said so earlier to keep UMfan from getting his hopes up.
  9. Jersey and I had no trouble with it. You can find the link here though with a bit of effort. http://www.hockeywebcasts.com/
  10. Well it did cost them 1 game in the Finals and I cant remember the effect it had on the DET series, but I presume it was at the very least similar. I'm happy I was wrong. However for any of us to sit here and say we had 100% confidence they would pull this thing out during the DET series and after the Bruins won game 3 we would be liars. It was a great playoff run and fun to watch. EDIT: To be fair, I also was irate at the benching of Stalberg and the refusal of pairing Kane, Toews and Bickell. Also playing Bollig was ridiculous. Low and behold, Q finally goes back to it and we turn it up offensively. I doubt anyone saw the comeback against the Red Wings, but I definitely never doubted the Hawks would win this series, even after game 3.
  11. not working Just checked it. Still working.

  13. You can do it Pierre! http://i.imgur.com/rd3uhjV.jpg
  14. Not unexpected at this point though.
  15. Watching this French-Canadian broadcast. Didn't know Toews spoke French.
  16. i am so confused about this Yeah, they're referencing a Game 7 that never happened, for some reason. Or are you confused about the actual numbers? I would guess that's just a typo and means to be Game 6. This.
  17. Theo hiding these moves on the day after the Hawks championship. Sneaky....
  18. For future reference, this site appears to do a great job of linking to all the archives of different games audio and video. http://www.hockeywebcasts.com/
  19. Boston Radio broadcast from last night. http://bruins.nhl.com/club/RadioPlayer.htm?id=2012030416
  20. Please share if you find it. So far, I've failed utterly.
  21. Hockey playoffs are better than baseball playoffs. I watched the 2003 playoffs. I watched both of the Hawks Stanley Cup runs. I wanted them both equally, both had their drama, but hockey playoffs are just better. They're just different styles. Hockey is all about speed, and baseball is all about the slow, torturous build of anticipation or fear, depending on how the game is going. It ultimately comes down to personal preference. But I'll tell ya, I'd watch a hockey playoff game between two teams that I'm not a fan of....I don't do the same with baseball. I'm unlikely to watch much, if any, of the baseball playoffs this year...unless it's to hate-watch the Cardinals, hoping they lose. I watched a lot of of non-Blackhawks playoff games and was highly entertained. I admit, the Cubs have really quashed my interest in baseball quite a bit over the last few years, but I've long thought that the hockey playoffs were the best playoffs in sports.
  22. Trying to find a clip of the Boston radio call on the last 2 minutes of the game.
