Looks like they are interested. @Ken_Rosenthal Told #STLCards' pursuit of #Cubs' Navarro has slowed. Teams unable to agree on price. Deal appears doubtful. @JonHeymanCBS #cardinals won't be getting dioner navarro. wouldnt give up anything of value. #cubs
lol, Brad Biggs wrote an article for the Trib about the Bears including read-option... http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/ct-spt-0731-bears-chicago-20130731,0,2978879.story Then a little while ago: @AdamHoge Jay Cutler when asked how much read-option is in the offense: "None."
DJ Williams carted off. No other details. Bostic filling in, and apparently looking very good. Jonathan Scott has ice taped to his right knee, and so Cory Brandon is playing LT, along with Eben Britton. Jamal Anderson has ice on his knee.
Yeah ok, I was thinking about it wrong. The MMA stuff is actually probably more helpful for a defensive guy trying to blow past an offensive lineman than the other way around. There probably wasn't a lot of blocking when training with Glazer.
Physically...but all I've seen have said he needs a lot of work on technique. Hub was saying that Long didn't know what to do with his hands, which is a little odd cuz I thought that was part of what he was working on with Glazer and the MMA stuff.
Did he change his twitter handle? It would appear so. Heh, dumb question in retrospect. Would've been a pretty awkward run with the Yanks if that's not a change.
If you're asking me, I don't go by predictions (and projections). What a weird statement. N&G wasn't asking you to name the 40 man roster next season. He's simply checking to make sure you understand that there will be, as there is every offseason, roster turnover.
I wonder what the odds were of the Cardinals making the playoffs on that date. Probably not all that terrible since the division was so awful. So depressing. They won the wild card, and the Brewers won 96 games. Coolstandings had them at 1.1%. ESPN has the Cubs at 2.8% today, fwiw.
Every year, I go into training camp, knowing better than to buy into the hype, but I really like Kyle Long, and think he could really be good, long term if not short term. http://www.csnchicago.com/bears-talk/kyle-long-using-mma-training-right-guard
