    That's definitely the consensus from the draft guys in the media and I agree. Of course that'd be the year for the Bears to get a high pick

    NO. BASICALLY ONE BAD QUARTER MEANS BAD TEAM. The 1st game of that back to back they nearly lost to a team trying to lose 82 games. They've really played 1 good game all season, the Knicks game. They'd probably be 1-6 right now if they played actual good teams every night. I don't know if I've ever seen someone draw more conclusions from the first 7 games of the NBA season. There's better arguments that they've played they are overworking some of their guys than that they aren't a good team.

    Just gotta rant...I really hate that every Sunday game for the Hawks are on local WGN. They're the only games that I don't get (unless they simulcast on NHL Network). I really hope eventually WGN just drops all sports so I can completely ignore that channel.

    I was just about to post that anyone expecting coaching changes mid-season are going to be disappointed. Massive changes in the offseason? Almost assuredly. But no way they do anything before then.

    Well from Trestman's perspective, the potential net gain to his job security from his team scoring some garbage time points is not worth the potential disaster of one of his highly paid offensive stars suffering a serious injury during meaningless football. What's the disaster if Marshall has a hammy or twisted ankle or whatever? So what if he misses a couple weeks? Or hell, the season. There's nothing to protect him for.

    Why pull the starters? To save them for the playoffs? They get blown out each week...they should play through their own mess.
