  1. Crow says he missed a step at a concert. EDIT: Wearing a boot on his left foot.

  3. @BrianHedger Don't want to be an alarmist, but some odd stuff: Crawford is talking to us after Q talks & his name plate is gone from room. #Blackhawks @BrianHedger Crawford talking to us, while injured, is odd because injured #Blackhawks almost never talk w/ media while still hurt.
  4. I don't know, but this dude hosts a spanish language sports talk show in Boston it looks like. That tweet was actually posted as a translation of his first tweet that was in spanish Here's more nonsense that he just tweeted a minute ago: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/madhops_42/robot.jpg
  5. Poked in the eye the other night. Also some kind of "fluid around the knee joint" thing?
  6. So how about those offensive peripherals?
  7. This is being discussed in both the Science thread and the Sports Media thread.
  8. Yeah, but they really need to say what he WAS suspended for. Not really For PR purposes they sure do. Until then, it looks pretty bad that Law was suspended, and Schilling wasn't. Legally, of course they don't have to say anything...but that's not what I'm talking about.
  9. They were still underwhelming, given the expectations of the offense and that they were playing the [expletive] Vikings. the peripherals were good. Still not putting up the points. We're deep in the season now, so arguing that it SHOULD have been better is ringing pretty hollow. like i said before, if you want to talk outcomes, the bears won. assuming that they're going to put up that kind of offensive performance again and not score more than 21 points is probably wrong. The the same number of TD's in Atlanta with very similar offensive numbers.
  10. See the discussion beginning here: viewtopic.php?p=3149557#p3149557
  11. Yeah, but they really need to say what he WAS suspended for.
  12. Yeah, this was mentioned in the science thread, but it needed to be brought up in a better spot than that.
  13. Well I'm not gonna spend a Friday night trying to watch that.
  14. Yeah, I get that there's some "lash out" reaction when something like that happens, but blaming the messenger is silly. What was silly about it is if there was to be a lash out, you'd expect it to be immediate. It's like they got sick of bitching about their bosses unprofesisonalism, so they had to find a new outlet. I wonder if there was finger pointing going on from their bosses at Feder as their excuse for not letting them know. Well, Julie DiCaro did tweet almost immediately some anger towards Feder. But yeah, the discussion on the radio took a while to develop.
  15. That I 100% agree with. My only beef with the reporter is maybe (maybe) he could have reached out to them for comment. But as I typed that I'm not sure that even makes sense because several people got fired and he couldn't be expected to contact all of them. And he probably had no idea that they didn't know.
  16. Yeah, I get that there's some "lash out" reaction when something like that happens, but blaming the messenger is silly.
  17. Well, they only scored 21. If you want to talk overall outcomes, they won the game. Sure, because the Vikings are terrible and couldn't score. Is a defense that allows a lot of yards but not many points good, or bad? Cuz I've seen a few of those over the years in Chicago. The Bears offense played better, no doubt. But scoring 21 points against the Vikings doesn't make me sit up and take notice.
  18. Well, they only scored 21.
  19. The Cubs fan base is [expletive] awful, and it's easy for the Cardinals to be propped up as dedicated when they never [expletive] lose. Oh, come on. The people suck, just like any large group of people (and large group of baseball fans), but they draw everywhere they go, especially when they're good. If the Cubs fan base is [expletive] awful by the standards we're talking about (not whether they're douches or morons or racists or whatever other negative qualities you get with large groups of baseball fans), I would love to know how you'd characterize the rest of baseball. [expletive] awful? http://i.imgur.com/3KMULF8.gif
  20. Jeff Dickerson @ESPNChiBears Trestman tells us #Bears have made tweaks since bye week to allow Cutler to change his passing point. Moving around. Jeff Dickerson @ESPNChiBears Cutler wants to keep moving around and outside the pocket. Thought it worked well last week vs. #Vikings.
  21. Indeed. It's almost as if the father-in-law is not closely involved in the negotiations. Of course, that's apparently crazy talk. The crazy talk is devoting two entire pages to debating the validity of such a vague statement. :banghead: Hi. This is an internet message board with a Cubs focus. It's the offseason. This is what we do. Welcome!
