  1. That was great to hear. I've long disagreed with Hub, and thought he had a lot of bitterness toward the Bears, but he's seems a lot more measured in his thoughts this season, imo.
  2. Those pics are really quite old. This is more recent. http://tomfornelliblog.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/screen-shot-2014-03-31-at-4-31-13-pm.png Boers on the left, Bernstein on the right.
  3. He's off all the time. Does a lot of the shows from his basement I believe. He's honestly semi-retired, and is around to make weird noises and be Dan's yes-man.
  4. To me, he looks like Tony Kornheiser with like an extra 25-30 years on him.
  5. He's a punchable radio guy, but he's not fat. Which really is the important part of this conversation, I know. http://s1.dmcdn.net/iwwa.jpg That's a good point; I'm assuming Waddle isn't fat, too. Though I refuse to believe that Boers and Bernstein are gigantic blubbery monsters. Please don't post pictures to the contrary. Actually, right now...Matt Spiegel and Mike Mulligan are really the only fat guys the Score have right now that I can think of. Plenty of fat producers, but host wise...not really. Don't know the other stations hosts as well.

  7. I don't really love Marshall personally...but when healthy, he's still a very good WR.
  8. Long hasn't head any other coach though...so it's understandable from him. He has no other point of reference.
  9. Carmen Defalco is really punchable. But Brandon needs to not be on tv or radio next year.
  10. @BMarshall 40m Very sad day. Feels like a funeral. Phil Emery was a great leader, and these coaches some of the best I've been around. #BearDown
  11. The Lions should stop stepping on people.
  12. Why WOULDN'T you??? Hilariously entertaining.
  13. Right...but the point is to try to mimic the whole organization setup, possibly. But Dan said the only thing he can says is that Ted Phillips is safe...essentially they don't wanna fire him and want to keep him on somehow.
  14. why in the holy hell would they keep philips and hire some other non-nfl executive? He's saying that both these guys have run sports organizations, so it would be the non-football business stuff that Ted Phillips would do. This would mimic what the Packers have done by bringing in Mark Murphy, who was the AD in Northwestern before moving to the Packers.
  15. Chance...sure. But Bernstein says it's going to be more about a change in organization philosophy...he really thinks it's going to be encouraging. Says that they're aware of how fast they need to move.
  16. Some names that Dan Bernstein is bringing up to be a Sports Business executive... Jim Phillips - AD from Northwestern Jay Blunk - Exec Vice Pres of the Blackhawks Or they could go for a "football-y" guy with a guy like Mike Holmgren.
  17. The fights in training camp. That's so tame though. That was strangely the one time that Trestman got all "accountability". Bennett has, other than some drops, performed on the field, and other than some eccentricities, has been a non-factor off the field.
  18. Yeah, hopefully they aren't TOO fast....Bears have some hiring to do before they get to HC.
  19. @RapSheet Oddity of the day: #Bears OC Aaron Kromer had his final meeting with offensive players at his house, not the office.
  20. And then Martellus Bennett said things: http://i.imgur.com/f50btR8.jpg
  21. Kyle Long was asked what kind of coach the Bears should get, and I'm paraphrasing, but he said they need a coach that can establish an identity for this team and DEMANDS that they live up to that identity. They should be a team that other teams don't want to play, and he thinks they have players that can make this team be that way.
  22. Well duh, they were terrible as opposed to winning 10 in Lovie's last year. Plus, Trestman is weird. His last day with the Bears was the same as all the previous days. And it was only two years. But man, what a [expletive] weird two years.
  23. This should have just been a pic/gif thread right from the start.
  24. @FauxEmery It was either Carrie Newcomer, or Lil Wayne. I stand by my decision.
