    Castro

Who is saying that it is? The post immediately above that one, in which believing Castro would bounce back in the second half was described as "reasonably obvious." Bounce back doesn't mean he's gonna turn into an all-world SS. In this case, I think relative improvement over his current stats is all that's being projected.
  6. Oh man I can't wait until Blues fans see this in stores The kids over at HF boards are acting like someone ran over their puppy. I like it for no other reason it pisses off a lot of other fan bases. If you follow Drunk Patrick Kane on twitter, he's excellent about retweeting angry fans when it comes to stuff like this, and after playoff wins. If misery porn is your thing, he's got you covered.

  8. Is there a history there?
  9. Haha, Whoops. I'll let it stay to be mocked.
  10. Pretty sure he was always a Yankees fan. He was only a Sox fan in skits and movies. This is terrific. Jon Hamm had an affinity for the Mets in Mad Men and now that it's over suddenly he's a freaking Cardinals fan? WTF? Eh, I kinda get it with Fallon because it was on both SNL and Pitch Perfect that he did some of the Red Sox stuff. And fandom are one of those things that gets brought over to TV/movie characters occasionally.
  11. Ok, maybe mad was the wrong word. Zach Zaidman was on the radio getting himself all twisted into a pretzel over it. I just think it's a silly criticism.
  12. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that most parents get pretty good at multitasking while holding a baby. The guy wasn't danging his kid over the balcony, and he wasn't trying to field a screaming line drive or anything. There's plenty of things to get mad at bad parents for, but meh on this one.
  13. On the other hand weirdos get worked up over the AS game mattering and shootouts. I don't get worked up about the baseball ASG, as it still is better than what they did before(rotating year to year) but the shootout is beyond dumb. Would you get worked up if baseball decided to have a homerun derby if the game is tied at the end of 9 innings? if the alternative was to tie or have extra innings that were pretty likely to go on for hours, that sounds like it would be amazingly fun. At first, I agree. But I think it'd quickly wear out its welcome. How many extra innings games have the Cubs played? A home run derby would play a huge factor in who makes the playoffs.
  14. I admit, I thought home field was determined by better record prior to the ASG winner getting it. I'm a bad baseball fan.
  15. I'm really confused by this. I mean...9 boxes of 6 popsicles, with 1 box left is 48 popsicles....but he said he at 17.
  16. Sure, but at least it's something resembling hockey. It's a better gimmick than the shootout, imo. What would be the main disadvantage of just calling a tie and splitting the two points? General American dislike for ties.
  17. One guy cowered in fear, but the meathead one row back there just wanted to watch skulls get crushed. The lady next to the kid that caught the ball was cowering too.
  18. The adults cowering in fear and leaving the kids to fend for themselves makes me a little angry.
  19. Sure, but at least it's something resembling hockey. It's a better gimmick than the shootout, imo.
  20. Maybe The Score didn't want them anymore? They would rather have the Cubs?
  21. Yeah, they got the info from Feder... http://www.robertfeder.com/2015/06/23/wls-wins-white-sox-radio-rights/ Apparently the Cubs WBBM deal has a one time "out" after this season, so this was pretty clearly a strong possibility.

  23. Oduya played with a torn elbow. Versteeg thinks he'll need to get his knee cleaned up in the offseason. Kruger and Shaw were both playing injured, but no word yet on what. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nhl/story/_/id/13088127/2015-stanley-cup-finals-johnny-oduya-kris-versteeg-marcus-kruger-several-chicago-blackhawks-play-injured-game-6
