There's still plenty of fans of it. Just a lot of people are willing to give it up if it means standardizing the rules across the league, as they realize that the DH isn't ever going away in the AL.

I was disappointed not seeing Yedlin out there last night, but I suppose that field probably wouldn't have exactly been ideal for his speed.

My God, they could lose three baseball games in a row. Losing 2 of 3 to the White Sox at home would be stupidly bad Good teams lose to bad team sometimes in baseball. I wouldn't be happy about it, but lets not try to put too much on a single series against a bad AL team.

Good rule but when he didn't even run on a fly ball 3 inches from the chalk I almost went over to the dark side. He did start running. It looked like the ball was out of play and the wind pushed it. Starling was 1/3 of the way to first when it landed. Man, the radio guys made it sound like he didn't even leave the box. He didn't initially leave the batters box because it looked like it was into the stands the stands. He had to get the papers, get the papers.

I caught bits of that game last night, and it didn't even look like Mexico was trying that hard.

It could be argued the Cubs had a strong chance of sweeping that series and couldn't get it done, with a no-hitter late in the first game, and down to the last strike in the last game. That's why it's disappointing.
