they start friday? i could've sworn i'd been hearing for weeks about how the hawks opener was going to be the same night as the NL wild card game They do start Wednesday. I think he was just saying that they play relatively close to him on Friday night. ahh going to be really interesting to see how that goes (obviously there's bias at play as I'm not a hockey fan as you all know ) i can't imagine being a cubs fan and going to that game...and there's obviously a ton of overlap in the fan bases. no way to know but i'd bet it'd be a higher concentration of sox fans than usual. I think the way I would justify it, if I'd already bought tickets to the Hawks opener, is that if the Cubs win, there'll be more playoffs to be seen. If the Cubs lose, I didn't wanna watch anyway.

Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'Cause if it leaks to the VC he could end up MIA, and then we'd all be put on KP.

Isn't the first half from the Cubs Convention, or am I imagining that? It wouldn't surprise me at all. They posted a vine that Mark Lazerus had originally posted the other day without giving him any credit or mention, and didn't understand why he would be upset about that. They're awful, and I wouldn't put anything past them.

I would like to not hate the White Sox. I would like to occasionally be able to watch the game, and enjoy it. Hawk makes this impossible. -

Hawk will do 78 road games, opening day, and 2 home Cubs games. Another announcer will be hired for the remainder. Apparently he lives in Granger and doesn't want do the driving in for home games or something.

Jake is on ESPN 1000 right now. I'd recommend catching a replay or something if you can. That is one confident mofo. Asked about what the team will wear on the trip to PItt, and he said "Joe says if you feel "hot" in it, wear it!"
