    Not me. The Cubs had like 3 warning track flyouts in game 3...that just seemed like another one to add to the list.

    I think it's just that starters think they should be able to go as long as they would in a regular season game...they have confidence in themselves to work out of their own jams. It's kinda understandable really.

    I think it's a sort of cool storyline but I honestly couldn't give two horsefeathers if Cleveland breaks their drought, especially if it's against us. Cleveland got lucky enough to have the best basketball player of his generation be born in the region and feel beholden to it, and most of them are also Ohio State fans. They've seen plenty of titles in the last 15 years. I'd be glad to see the Tribe win if the Cubs lost to LA, but I can't say I'd care that much. If you extend that range back to 20-25 years, Chicago had freaking Michael Jordan. And even more recently, Chicago has 3 Cups from the Blackhawks. *insert David mocking hockey gif*

    Good thing it isn't up to you. I'd consider Hammel vs Kershaw. Jason should be very well rested, maybe we'd get first-half Hammel? Hammel isn't on the playoff roster. He will not be pitching in this series.

    The amount of attention being given to the Gonzalez play at the plate is ridiculous.

    Good thing it isn't up to you. Ok, Hammel is by no means the ideal choice, but win or lose tonight, we're facing Kershaw and (if necessary, which bit likely will be,) Hill, and I like our chances with Lester and Hendricks against those 2 over Hendricks and Jake. And seeing as we don't have any other SP options, Hammel would be the quick fix for a few innings, then to Wood and/or Zaz. Hammel isn't on the playoff roster what are you talking about?

    So what? It bothers me. I realize its a minority opinion and makes me sounds weird. I've been pulling for a Cubs-Indians WS all along, knowing that no matter what happens, some team would break a lengthy drought.

    He threw a bullpen session yesterday so he's not gonna go today. Plus...they want Kershaw for game 6. That game is either gonna be an elimination game or a clinching game. Either way, they want their best pitcher for that.
